The rH-PWM3 module controls three low voltage receivers powered from an external DC source (12 VDC). The power regulation is performed by pulse width modulation (PWM). The frequency of the pulses is set in the range 100 Hz to 1 kHz. The communication with the server takes place by radio. The rH-PWM3 module is particularly suitable for controlling LEDs, electromagnetic locks and other low voltage devices.
Symbol in design and configuration software:
The rH-PWM3 module is represented by object that consists of three channels that read the power and time information from their inputs. The assigned algorithm limits the maximum power for each channel, and controls the connected devices (LEDs or other loads) in compliance with the start/stop times and attributed power levels. The confirmed status of each channel is provided on its output as a feedback.
Installation:
  • Make sure the 12 VDC power source is switched off.
  • Connect the wires according to the diagram above.
  • Place the module in a suitable installation box.
  • Adjust the antenna wire parallel to one of the server antennas, as far as possible from the other wires.
  • Switch on the power source.
  • Register the device in the system.
  • Close the installation box.
An example application:
In the diagram above, the F2106 module is used to switch on/off and alter scenes in two areas or rooms. A change is triggered by a momentary switch connected to the pins 1 or 3 of the module and executed by the first or second logical object. A change of the state at pins 2 or 4 switches off the relevant light scene. The F1430 module can control an RGB LED strip to change effective color of the light in the scene. The F1432 module can control the brightness of the light. This object is connected with the F2106 module. Momentary switches connected to its inputs can switch off the scenes.
