The DS-KH8380-WTE1 is a modern touchscreen monitor designed for the operation of Hikvision second generation IP video door entry systems. It allows direct audio/video conversation with people at the door station and intercom communication between other monitors installed in the system. This allows tenants to communicate with each other free of charge. The system is operated via a clear and intuitive graphical interface. The monitor allows you to connect and view images from IP cameras and door stations at any time. It is also possible to capture a picture during a video call and record a short message in the event of a missed call. The monitor is equipped with an Ethernet port for network connection. A built-in Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz module operating in the b/g/n standard enables wireless communication. The panel can be powered locally DC 12 V or via PoE (802.3af).

Functions of a simple alarm system
The functionality and security of a system built based on DS-KH8380-WTE1 panels can be enhanced by extending the functions of the control panel. The monitor is equipped with 8 alarm inputs for connecting sensors. Information about the violation of a particular sensor can be transmitted to the Hik-Connect mobile application. The ability to set zones and select several arming modes, allows you to tailor the system to your needs. Sensors operating as NO/NC can be connected to the panel and different types of alarm can be set for each: immediate, 24 h and delayed.

Hikvision's second-generation IP video door entry systems feature an aesthetically pleasing design and high functionality. The door station has a modular design, which means that its components can be selected according to the requirements of the system. It always includes a main module that allows powering the other modules and optional expansion modules (max. 8).

The door station can be expanded with 1, 2 and 3 module under/surface frames, which can be combined with each other. This makes it possible to build both small and large systems. Functional touchscreen monitors with an aesthetically pleasing design allow operation, viewing of video from door stations and IP cameras, making intercom calls and local and remote door opening via the Hik-Connect app.
System configuration and management
The system can be configured through the function client application iVMS-4200 (v3) dedicated to the management and supervision of Hikvision security systems, such as NVRs (IP, TurboHD), wideodomofony, access control, decoders, etc. Remote door opening, making recordings, photos and voice calls to tenant monitors is possible when controlling the system with the application. It also allows you to send text notifications with a photo to individual tenants. Thanks to that, all administrative information can be transferred easily and quickly. From the door panel, you can call the monitoring center (iVMS-4200) and contact the security.

Access from mobile devices
Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS by using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used for remote live viewing from DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, video intercoms over the WiFi, 2G or 3G and to view saved recordings. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application allows connectivity via IP addresses and via P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.
